BCF’s financial services team represents and advises a multitude of clients in a variety of sectors in connection with the restructuring of their distressed enterprises.

As such, we are well aware of the duties incumbent on bankruptcy trustees when it comes to meeting debtors, preparing documentation, notifying creditors, verifying claims, collecting and selling assets as well as holding proceeds for distribution. We counsel and advise trustees, assist them in the event of fraud, and defend them against any charges of professional misconduct.

BCF’s financial services team advises and represents a number of Canadian banking institutions on matters relating to daily banking activity as well as to less common transactions requiring custom-made solutions and guidance.
